Every year I pull a multitude of gift guides for every type of girly and guy. The outdoorswoman, the hostess, the college girly. But this year as I share content on Instagram and a few less shoppable posts, I thought I would pull just a few of my favorites. I’ve been told I’m notoriously hard to shop for. But, not at all! I love simple gifts for the aesthetic. A coffee table book, a trinket that will look lovely on my nightstand? Add to my list. From a little luxe but functional here are my go-to’s for the girly pop in your life that is the most difficult to shop for.
It’s important to note that Christmas while a season of giving is not about the price of the gift. While Jesus Christ was the greatest gift of all, I think in a season of giving, it’s the touch of acknowledgment. Remember when Ross gave Rachel the pin her grandmother wore. It was so personal, to Rachel. I love scouring the internet for gifts that are personal to each receiver. It says, “I see you.”
These picks came from my own interests. Between traveling and developing a home, personal touches really show your loved ones that you’re attentive to their livelihood. I love the little match cloche! I have so many candles in my home, and this cloche is so attractive rather than a regular lighter! I pulled a few items from Harrods, and I know the packaging itself is a gift. After traveling to Ireland last year, I became a tea drinker. And the little tea box is so cute to set on your counter for display. I did include a few perfumes which may be a faux pas. But Chanel is always a sophisticated choice, and I haven’t seen anyone turn their nose at Sol de Janeiro. (They also do a body spray I love!)
